Josie was born in the Roaring Fork Valley with a passion for travel, study and service. After high school, she found the hospitality industry would provide her opportunities to explore the U.S. Starting as a reservationist at the Plaza Hotel in New York, she moved on to become a concierge and personal assistant on a private yacht in the Bahamas, and eventually a restaurant manager and an event coordinator back in Colorado. All the while, Josie developed a devotion to volunteer work and community outreach, which brought her back to her home town of Carbondale. Since returning to the Roaring Fork Valley, she has joined the HaitiChildren team, and volunteers with local gardening and arts programs. She is a perpetual student of life who studies business, sustainability, and psychology at Colorado Mountain College, and she is so happy to apply her knowledge and experience in a new way by helping us provide love, support, and education through our non-profit organization.
