Gunfire in Port-au-Prince

Gunfire has been reported at the U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

The State Department said Monday afternoon the gunfire was “coming from the rear entrance” of the building, and a “shelter in place” is in effect for the compound.

There have been no reports of injuries.
